Here are some photos of my 'birdbath' in my garden. She is very happy there as she can watch the pond with all that goes on there!

Azure in her new home (Above)
Iron Maiden - Some months ago you were asked by my wife’s parents to make a statue of IRON MAIDEN for our Christmas present. I thought I would send you a picture of it , as it is now displayed in our dining room in our new house.

Funanya - Pete was just THRILLED with the sculpture I bought from you at Hyde End for
his 60th birthday!
It remained wrapped with your bubble wrap right up 'til the day!
As promised, I enclose a couple of photographs of it in situ. Unfortunately
the sun isn't shining when I took the pics, but in the morning sun it really
gleams among the foliage!

Aloha (now called Annie) - We love her. She arrived Friday. Have called her Annie (as it was an anniversary present!!).
Some photos of her placed on the love seat. Looks really good.
Many thanks.

Amaan
Ruby (Bonnie) - - we have renamed her "Ruby" as she was a Ruby Wedding Anniversary present - I hope you don't mind - she seems quite happy with her new name.

Simisola - at home!

Masego - You may remember that my sister bought me one of your statues for my birthday recently in June.  It is now in its final [well, for now!] resting place in the garden and looks wonderful. I have attached a photograph for you so you can see how well it sits.  I am so thrilled with it; it does, and will, give me huge pleasure as it encapsulates so much of my life and my work.  I think your sculptures are quite magical and wish you enormous success.

Zinah - A photograph of Zinah, who now takes pride of place in my dining room.  I was so pleased to find her yesterday, and no doubt she will end up being one of many.
Letitia

Deborah -Here are some pictures of the new lady who lives at our house.

Neo - At long last I am sending you a photo of Neo sitting amongst the pots! We adopted Neo back in the spring'06  at the Sandown Craft Fair so a 'postcard' is long overdue. She is behaving beautifully, is much admired and looks as good today as she did when we adopted her. Her changes in colour when wet make her even more interesting. As the summer goes on and the garden gets into full swing she will continue to move around taking full advantage of the best background to show her off. Just to let you see what the garden will, hopefully, look like in a few weeks time I am sending a photo taken September last year.

Angelica - When I bought my Angelica you asked me to send in a picture. Well here is the first one I’ve taken, which is at night, on the first night she has been outside – she has been indoors to “cure” since being bought. I hope to take a few more when the plants around fill out a bit. It is lit by a laser torch, and it was an experiment with the camera and lighting – I think it worked out quite well. Especially when all I did was set the camera down, pointing in about the right direction, shone the torch and pressed the shutter release. Apart from cropping the image to remove all the rubbish surroundings. Hope you like it as much as I like Angelica.
Alanis - You say you would like to see a photo of your 'girl' in-situ - so here is ours. I was bought her for my birthday from Hyde End Craft Exhibition. I cannot say that this will be the final position as 'your girl' definitely has a strong will! She started off at the back of the water feature but made it very clear that this just would not do and she wanted to be centre stage! I have a feeling that our relationship is going to be a bit tempestuous, but when she sits in the sun and just 'golden glows' I can refuse her nothing!

Angharad - August 2007

Kylikki - My wife and I spoke to you at the Fawley Court event today and we mentioned that we had one of your pieces from a previous show. I promised I’d send you a picture or two of the figure in situ, and these are attached. Hope they are of interest!

Ainsley -We are delighted with our new garden visitor. She is so elegant and we think she is very happy sitting in her elevated position. We have not seen anything that we have liked so much anywhere, and we are so glad that our friends in Hertford took us to Hatfield House for the day, when you happened to be there. Sinead

Anna arrived safely. We are delighted with her. (BLUE) ROSE : As requested I attached photos of my beautiful girl in her place amongst the foxgloves, and look forward to bringing more of her family in !!

Susan's sculptures are created using colour in the textile hardener then highlighted with various complimentary shades/finishes, as environmental conditions vary from place to place please expect all colour to fade in varying degrees dependant on where the sculpture is situated, this is a normal process with any outdoor object and should add to the character of the work. (Please be advised that we will only create sculptures in a printed fabric by special request and these would be for indoor use only.)

Please contact Susan to order/commision your own individually created fabric sculpture or sculptural garden art. Every statue is UNIQUE as each one is created by hand from the making of the frame to the 'dressing' and completion of the figure/art so although may be similar no two are ever identical.

Perhaps a personalised gift created especially for a friend or someone in your family.

The website is updated as often as possible in between making statues and shows! Please check back as often as you like.

PLEASE NOTE: Every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of colour reproduction in the images of the sculptures but cannot be guaranteed due to the many varied digital and printing options available.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: As every garden sculpture will weather we advise that should you want to clean your sculpture please use a soft cloth/soft brush with some cold water to gently take off any sign of weathering - Do NOT use a pressure hose as this will damage the fabric.
